We are seeking new Singers!

Join Sanctae Dei, the 10:30 a.m. choir, as we worship and support the Liturgy. The choir is made up of volunteers over the age of 18 who are dedicated, committed to serving, and fun-loving. All levels of singing, from beginner to advanced, are welcome.  
 

Mission
 We encourage and support congregational singing by providing appropriate liturgical music, enhancing the full, conscious, and active participation of the faithful during liturgical celebrations.

Sanctae Dei offers a range of styles of music and sings standard hymnody along with SATB (four-part harmony). All voices and instrumentalists are welcome.

Membership
 Previous music experience is helpful but certainly not required. Participants must possess a good singing voice (the ability to match and maintain pitch) and be willing to commit to rehearsals and services. Sanctae Dei is for adults and young adults from high school to the "young at heart."

We Minister
Weekly at 10:30 a.m. Sunday liturgy, as well as the primary liturgical celebrations of the year (September - May). Sanctae Dei choristers will join the Youth Choir, Lux Christi, in the sanctuary near the altar to sing for Mass.

Rehearsals
 The Adult Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and before Sunday Mass in the Music Room located in the two-story building. (September-May)
 

Do you play an instrument?
 If you play an instrument (guitar, violin, or flute) and want to share your talents, please join the music ministry. We always want to add quality and beauty to the Mass and special celebrations.

Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program (CMG)
 Protecting the Youth and Vulnerable
 All volunteers over eighteen must take the online Safe Environment training mandated by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The training must be completed by volunteers for service. More information is available HERE.
