DEFERRED ACTION
"Young people between the ages of 15-33 who are undocumented may be eligible to apply for deferred action for childhood arrivals - DACA. If young people are accepted to this program, they can receive driver?s licenses and work permits. Young people who already have DACA need to reapply every two years to keep their driver's license and work permit. On Saturday Aug. 23 from 9 am-1 pm at St. Charles Borromeo, 501 Tidwell, there will be an opportunity for young people to bring their documents and get help filling out an application. If you or someone you know is interested, please stop at the table after mass to register and get a packet to start filling out. If you are interested in carpooling, please see someone at the table after mass. If you have questions, please see Ann Swinburn or Ana Cummings."
