My how time flies ! It is hard to believe that as of July 1st, I have been pastor here at All Saints for 15 years. Yes, I arrived on July 1, 1999, the year before the great jubilee year of 2000. It is the longest time for being a pastor at all of the parish where I have served. The parish has changed in many, many ways. The staff, Pastoral Council, Finance Council and I have tried to "read the signs of the times" and move forward with our changing community.
Much has been accomplished with the prayers and support of the parishioners: a new slate roof on the church, a new Knights of Columbus Council #12,474, the complete renovation of the church(2008), celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2008, in grand style, the first Great Taste of the Heights(2005), weddings, funerals, quinceaneras, baptisms to name but a few. I thank you for that. And there are more challenges ahead. As we move forward with many young families now living in our parish, I pray that we can continue to work and grow together in making All Saints an even stronger community of faith, love and hope for all. It is a privilege to serve you as pastor and I thank you for your love and support for these 15 years.
