Youth Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the Sacraments of Initiation into the Church, together with Baptism and Eucharist. Confirmation completes Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seals or "confirms" the baptized in Christ and more fully equips them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church (CCC 1285).
All who wish to be confirmed must be at least a 9th grader in high school and 17 or younger. We strongly encourage the teens to participate in the faith formation program throughout the year.
The program is a two-year process with four semesters of faith formation, 2 liturgical retreats per year, AYC for 1st year, and a Confirmation Retreat for 2nd year only.
If a teen has not received their baptism, first confession, and first communion; they will be prepared for these sacraments during the confirmation program.
