Bio
Rev. Dr. Christian Meléndez-Cruz is a proud native of Puerto Rico. His journey began with a degree in psychology, a foundation that led to a doctorate in clinical psychology. He is licensed in the State of Washington. After his doctorate, he followed his calling to the seminary and was ordained a priest in 2022. Rev. Meléndez-Cruz now serves as an associate pastor at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he actively engages with the community. In his role as a psychologist, he provides guidance and support as the Director of Mental Health for the Vocation’s Office and the Council of Priests for the Diaconate Program. Additionally, he offers mental health consultation to the Office of Canonical Concerns, among other essential responsibilities.
