Have a Say About the Future of All Saints Catholic Community
No one has to be told that our parish is in the center of dramatic community development and change. The Pastoral Council, aware of this rapid and significant transformation, has undertaken a strategic planning process to prepare the parish to serve the All Saints Catholic Community in the future. The process has included a detailed analysis of the changing population. Using Mission Insight, a large source of data and projections used by churches across the country, these changes are predicted:
• 23% population growth in 10 years;
• 25% household income increase in 10 years;
• Increase in the population age segment 5 – 17 years old from 13% of the population to 22% of the population in 10 years.
The Pastoral Council has identified possible future goals for the All Saints Catholic Community for the next 10 years.
Please join us for a one-hour focus group where you can investigate more of the projection data and provide your input regarding the future goals and directions. Please note: THIS IS NOT A FUNDRAISING ACTIVITY! We need your input regarding where we are going!
Focus groups will be held in the Parish Hall at on Tuesday, May 19th 7-8 pm and Saturday, May 23rd 9:30-10:30 am. Just show up and please spread the word. Bring your friends. We want to hear from you. If you have any questions, you may contact Stephanie Sullivan at [email protected].
You are invited to a concert featuring the combined choirs of All Saints English Choir, Spanish Choir.
The concert is to be given in Honor of Eli Lopez for all his years of service to All Saints and for his ordination to the priesthood which will be in June.
March 2, 9, and 23 from 7:00PM to 8:15PM in TALC Room 2. Most of us, like Jesus in his first 30 years, lead ordinary lives but we have been called like Jesus to an extraordinary mission. Join us with the help of John Wood in exploring how to make our mission more extraordinary as we approach the great event of Easter.
On Thursday, Feb. 26 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, in a panel presentation and discussion, former Protestant pastors (Rev. Larry Gipson, formerly Rector at St. Martin's Episcopal and David White, formerly a Methodist pastor for 17 years) will share why they became Catholics. At times we forget our richness and need to hear it from an “outsider” to again appreciate what we have. Join us to better value your Catholic traditions.
In the Parish Hall.
Made for More - Feb. 16 and 23 in TALC Room 2 at 7pm. As Lent begins on Feb. 18, do you wonder at times why we are here and what the deeper meaning of life is? God's life is infinitely rich for us but we need to make the effort to plumb the depth. We will discuss Curtis Martin's insights as well as share our own journey of faith in this search. Make Lent and its 40 days of prayer and reflection a growth time in your life.
Please welcome members of the Catholic Faith who were baptized at All Saints on January 31, 2015:
