Today is a special day in our parish as we bless and dedicate the beautiful painting of Jesus and the Samaritan Woman at the well by artist and parishioner, Catherine Whiteswan at the 8:30 a.m. Mass. The story of the Samaritan Woman is a story of great awakening and manifestation of the mercy and forgiveness of Jesus to the woman and to all mankind. The painting will adorn our Reconciliation Room and will serve as a reminder to penitents of that mercy and forgiveness for all who are repentant. The Epiphany is a 'manifestation' of Jesus to all nations of the earth as represented by the Three Kings who came from foreign lands and found the newborn king. We are truly grateful to Catherine for this beautiful artwork and the parish says: THANK YOU, CATHERINE! Your talents and love and generosity will be appreciated by many for years to come.
