The Third Age Learning Center (TALC) has many programs for adults over 50 years of age both religious and other adult learning and hobby electives. This group is in session from February to May and from September to November.
There are also programs at the church site. These are announced in the Bulletin, Calendar and various pages in this website.

ALL SAINTS SENIOR PROGRAM
THIRD AGE LEARNING CENTER TO OPEN FOR THE FALL SEMESTER
All Saints’ Third Age Learning Center (TALC) will welcome seniors back for its 2024 Fall Semester of activities on Monday, September 16th. Registration for classes and seminars will take place in the TALC building, behind All Saints Church, the first week of the semester, September 16-19 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Late registration will take place, one day only, on Monday, September 23rd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This fall semester will feature a variety of classes such as Chess for beginners and advanced players, Bible Study in English and Spanish, Line Dancing, Scrapbooking & Photo Albums, Stained Glass, American Mah Jongg, Tai Chi and more. New classes added this semester include Sumie Painting and Cards for Kindness. Seminars will include information on Medicare, Flower Arranging, Lightning, and a presentation from Chefs for Seniors.
A Veterans’ Day Celebration will take place on Monday, November 11 with a flag presentation, recognition of veterans, live music and refreshments. Festivities begin at 10:30 am with lunch served at noon. Lunch reservations are required and all veterans in attendance receive a free lunch. -

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THIRD AGE LEARNING CENTER
The Advisory Council, teachers, and helpers are volunteers at the Third Age Learning Center (TALC). Only the cooks are paid a salary. Gifts from individuals, sponsoring churches, business firms, and friends are welcome. All gifts are tax deductible. A financial statement is available upon request. Checks should be made payable to All Saints Catholic Church / TALC.LUNCH PROGRAM
TALC invites seniors in the community to come and enjoy a full-course hot lunch, including dessert and beverage, served in a safe and happy environment. Lunch is provided by Reservation Only. Dine in Lunch is only $4.00 and is served Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. Take Out lunches are $5.00. A limited number of lunches are available, so reserve your lunch no later than 10:30 AM either in person or by calling TALC at (713) 248-1277. Lunch MUST be purchased by Noon. Menus will be available at the lunch desk.
FEES
TALC registration fee is $10.00. We offer a wide range of classes, workshops and seminars with fees ranging from no charge up to $30.00. Most classes are $5.00. Classes and workshops, which require additional supplies, are offered at an additional cost. Some classes require the student purchase a book or supplies from an outside source. Instructors will provide any necessary supply lists. The Registration form, with prices, will be available during registration week.
WANTED
VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTORS OR FACILITATORS WANTED
Each class or activity at TALC has its own volunteer leader who has a particular interest or expertise in the subject they have chosen. Let us know if you would like to share your knowledge and/or special skills by leading a 10-12 week class or conducting a seminar.
