Mission: To encourage and give children and young people in grades 2 through 10 an opportunity for meaningful music participation and leadership in the liturgy.

Membership: All youth in grades 2 through 10 are invited to join. Parents and students must be able to commit to rehearsal and mass schedule. (A schedule will be provided in advance). 

We Minister: Once a month at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass throughout November - May, in addition to Christmas Eve and the Sunday after Easter.

Music: Lux Christi choristers will learn the parts of the Mass, hymns, and music sung during Sunday Mass in addition to children and youth repertoire. Lux Christi choristers will receive sheet music and materials. Lux Christi choristers will join the Adult Choir downstairs near the altar to sing for Mass.

Rehearsals: Are held twice a month from November - May on Thursday afternoons from 5:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. in the Two Story Building - Music Room.

 The Choir is directed by Mr. Gonzalo Ramos, Director of Music and Liturgy

A $10 per family enrollment donation is requested to help cover the cost of materials, music, and supplies for the year. Folder will be purchased for choristers.

Donation sponsorships are available for families.

All children are invited to become a choir member of the Lux Christi Youth Choir and are welcomed to be a part of this integral music ministry at Al Saints.
